Part DIY pop band, part performance art spectacle, Beyond Obsession is the natural evolution of a decade-plus long friendship and relentless, joyous exploration of absurdity with earnest dedication.
Braiding cultural references spanning queer history, the creative duo draws on elements of late 1970s disco and 1990s house, filtered through dreamy analog synth and a nearly extra terrestrial vocal quality. Described as “an energized romp from beginning to end,” Beyond Obsession brings the party with fist pumping, hip pounding tracks and transcendent, blissful ballads.
